1. Site publisher
The website yoent.org is published by YOUTH ORGANISATION FOR ENVIRONMENT AND NEW TECHNOLOGY (YOENT/Asbl), a non-profit association under Congolese law, governed by Law No. 004/2001 of 20 July 2001 on non-profit associations and public-interest institutions.

2. Publication manager
The publication manager is the Coordinator of YOENT/Asbl, the association’s legal representative under Article 39 of its statutes. The Communication and Public Relations Officer manages the website.
3. Hosting
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus – www.hostinger.com.
4. Intellectual property
The YOENT name, acronym and logo, as well as the texts, photos and videos of the association’s activities, are the property of YOENT/Asbl unless otherwise stated. They are protected by Congolese copyright and related rights legislation.
Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without the written permission of YOENT/Asbl is prohibited. Sharing content for non-commercial purposes is welcome, provided the source is credited with a link to yoent.org.

Photos of YOENT’s activities belong to the association. Other photos are published under free licences and come from Wikimedia Commons:

6. Personal data protection
YOENT/Asbl is committed to protecting the privacy of the people who use this website, in accordance with Congolese law.
Data collected. The website only collects personal data when you fill in a form (contact, partnership, membership): name, organisation, position, email, phone, city and the content of your message.
Use. This data is used solely to answer your request, to review a partnership proposal or membership application, and to contact you. It is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties.
Recipients. Only the members of YOENT’s Coordination authorised to handle your request have access to it.
Retention period. Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, then for no more than three years after the last exchange. Members’ data is kept for the duration of their membership.
Your rights. You may at any time ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@yoent.org. We will reply within one month.
7. Cookies and third-party services
The website does not use advertising cookies or audience-tracking tools. Only technical cookies, needed for the website to work properly and to secure the forms, may be set.
Some pages use external services: Google Fonts to display fonts and Google Maps for the map on the Contact page. When you visit these pages, these services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies, under Google’s privacy rules.
8. Liability and external links
YOENT/Asbl strives to publish accurate and up-to-date information but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions. If you spot an error, please let us know.
The website may contain links to other sites (social media, partners, YouTube videos). YOENT/Asbl is not responsible for their content.
9. Applicable law
This legal notice is governed by the law of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable solution, the competent courts of Kinshasa shall have sole jurisdiction.
