Areas of intervention
From forest protection to youth entrepreneurship, YOENT works on the key challenges of sustainable development in the DRC.
Pillar 01
The DRC is home to one of the largest forests on the planet. We involve young people in environmental protection, the sustainable management of natural resources and the fight against climate change.
Pillar 02
Inform, train and mobilise: we develop awareness, information and communication tools, and encourage young people to engage in scientific research.
Pillar 03
We promote the entrepreneurial spirit of young people and women, from training to business planning, so they can create profitable and lasting income-generating activities.
Pillar 04
We maintain ongoing dialogue with decision-makers and donors so that the voices of young people, women, local communities and indigenous peoples count in public policy.
Pillar 05
Modern technologies open up new prospects. We introduce young people to digital tools and innovations, especially in energy, for sustainable development.
